We offer a range of regularly running webinars to help Christians and Churches become more supportive to people who have been bereaved.

Bereavement Friendly Church webinars

For all church leaders, including those running The Bereavement Journey® programme, or any Christian seeking to know how churches can better support those who have been bereaved. 

Level 1

This 2.5 hour webinar outlines the need and opportunity in the UK and the Church, offering a range of practical solutions. The learning can be applied to chaplaincy, such as in prisons, hospitals and universities/colleges. Cost: £10 per person.

Level 2

Interactive webinar for churches who are considering, or have decided, to adopt the Charter (12 marks of a Bereavement Friendly Church), share and learn from experience. Dates are currently being planned for Autumn 2025.

Level 3

What might a Bereavement Friendly Community look like, and how can churches be involved? This webinar is currently being developed. Dates to be advised.

We recommend that Care For the Family’s Bereavement Care Awareness is attended in addition to Bereavement Friendly Church.

Introducing The Bereavement Journey

For any Christian interested in running The Bereavement Journey® programme for their community, and all team members of The Bereavement Journey® courses.

This one-hour webinar explains how The Bereavement Journey® programme operates, who is needed and what is involved, enabling anyone to begin.

Listening People – supporting children and young people

For any adult wanting to support a bereaved child or young person (aged 9 and over) – teacher, youth worker, parent, professional, family member or friend.

Children grieve differently to adults.  These practical 1.5 hour webinars equip anyone seeking to support a bereaved child or young person with the tools to do so confidently.  Please attend level 1 before booking level 2.

Cost: £30 per person
